AI literacy should be available to more learners, not fewer.

Splash Spectrum is being designed with accessibility as a product requirement. Our target for the production classroom experience is WCAG 2.2 AA, with testing and remediation built into development rather than postponed until procurement.

CURRENT DESIGN DIRECTION

Accessibility principles we are designing toward.

Keyboard access

Core navigation and interactive controls should be operable without requiring a mouse or touch input.

Screen-reader semantics

Headings, labels, forms, tabs, expanded states, and landmarks should expose meaningful structure to assistive technology.

Readable presentation

Strong contrast, scalable text, spacious layouts, clear focus states, and plain-language labels should reduce unnecessary barriers.

More than color

Verification and safety states should not rely on color alone; labels and text should communicate the same meaning.

Reduced motion

Interfaces should respect reduced-motion preferences and avoid unnecessary animated attention capture.

Media alternatives

As audio and video studios are developed, captions, transcripts, descriptions, and accessible editing controls must be considered from the beginning.

ACCESSIBILITY STATUS

Target, test, document, improve.

The current marketing site includes responsive layouts, a skip-to-content link, semantic form labels, keyboard-operable interactive controls, focus states, reduced-motion support, and non-color status language. The future classroom application will require substantially deeper accessibility testing before broad deployment.

WCAG 2.2 AA is a target for the production product, not a claim that every future feature has already been independently certified.
